Who We Are
Who We Are
Situated in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent and within easy reach of the court centres of Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire & beyond, we offer traditional barristers' services in a modern and progressive way.
For over 25 years we have provided expert advice and representation in a wide range of practice areas, including family,
crime and common law.
We are committed to delivering a personal service which is friendly, plain speaking and always remains focused on the needs of our clients.
The rules that govern lawyers have changed and many members of Regent Chambers are now able to accept instructions from the public without the need to first instruct a solicitor.
This can have a number of advantages, in particular clients can directly access the expert advice and representation provided by a barrister, at lower cost.
Please contact us if you would like to arrange a free consultation so we can assess whether your case is suitable for public access representation.
Covid-19 Update : Partial Re-Opening
We're pleased to announce that we are now able to conduct conferences in person at chambers by arrangement. Any such conferences are subject to measures intended to minimise the risk of cross-infection. This includes limitations on the number of people that can attend and social distancing procedures. Please contact us for more information.
Our staff continue to work mostly from home but we have systems in place that should ensure the level of service remains consistently high.
We can still be contacted via the usual telephone number or email addresses.
Our barristers are able to use Video Link and Conference Call facilities as required by either the client or court. We are able to arrange video-conferences using Microsoft Teams, Zoom or the Court Video Platform. Telephone conferences can also take place if necessary.
We have recently opened a Video Hearing Suite to enable remote hearings to take place from chambers. It is possible for clients to attend hearings by arrangement, again social distancing measures apply.
We prefer to work with digital files for obvious safety reasons but please call or email to arrange the delivery or collection of hardcopy documents or case files if there is no alternative.
Further updates will be released as events develop. Please contact us with any questions.
